About Lakeland
Lakeland Farm & Ranch Direct is a trusted leader in livestock handling equipment, serving producers across North America. But what really sets us apart is our people. We’re a tightknit crew who lives by our core values: honesty, humility, innovation, and an appetite for “getting stuff done.”
- Purpose with Impact – Everything we build, and market is designed to “make life easier” for farmers and ranchers, so you’ll see your work translate directly into real-world results.
- Culture of Growth – You’ll collaborate daily with teammates who celebrate wins (big and small), own mistakes without excuses, and constantly ask “why not?” when tackling new challenges.
- Tools & Autonomy – From day one you’ll have access to HubSpot, SEMrush, and a sandbox for experimenting with fresh ideas—plus the freedom to drive your own projects.
- Community & Camaraderie – We mix rural grit with marketing creativity: buzzing about new campaigns, ringing the victory gong when deals close, and sharing a laugh over barnyard pun.
If you’re hungry to learn, eager to innovate, and ready to help shape the future of agriculture marketing, saddle up, Lakeland is where your next adventure starts.
About the Role
The Content Marketing Coordinator is the Swiss Army knife who keeps our video content machine humming. You’ll shoot marketing content of all types, edit video for social media purposes, manage our content calendar, build out e-newsletters & update our WordPress site (products, blogs, the whole works). You’re a roll up your sleeves doer who loves asking “Why not?” as much as “Why?”- and you chase success like you’re starving.
Key Responsibilities
- Own our Social Channels – Curate, create, and schedule thumb stopping posts across Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn, and YouTube; keep content on brand and the calendar humming. Engage followers and our Ambassador network in real time to nurture a lively community.
- Keep the Website Fresh – Update product pages, blog posts, and resources on our WordPress site; ensure every change matches Lakeland’s voice and visual standards while improving user experience.
- Support Digital Campaigns – Partner with the marketing team on paid ad promos and multichannel campaigns, providing copy, creative, and performance insights.
- Create Compelling Visuals – Assist with video editing, photo shoots, and asset creation for social, email, and web—making livestock equipment look downright epic.
- Design & Build Eblasts – Manage the building of all Lakeland e-newsletters which go out once a week.
Qualifications & Skills
- Social Media Savvy – Comfortable scheduling and optimizing content across Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, and using the usual calendar tools to keep it all straight.
- Email & CRM Experience – You can build, segment, and analyze campaigns in HubSpot (or similar), keeping lists clean and workflows humming.
- Brand Guardian – You respect tone, visuals, and voice guidelines and know how to keep messaging consistent—even when you’re testing something wild.
- Organized & Detail Obsessed – Spreadsheets, content calendars, and checklists are your natural habitat.
- Clear Communicator – Strong written and verbal chops help you turn “galvanized gauge” into benefits that resonate with hobby farmers and ranchers alike.
- Visual Content Flair – Extremely comfortable creating, shooting & editing video content, in Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar tools to give livestock equipment some cinematic swagger.
- Rural Lifestyle Enthusiast – A genuine interest in agriculture, livestock, or the rural way of life means you “get” our customers and speak their language.
- Creative Mindset – Have the ability to think outside the box.
- Attitude – Ability to foster a collaborative, solutions-focused environment while upholding Lakeland’s values of professionalism, respect, and customer-first service.
Our Core Values
- We Do the Right Thing – Integrity in every email, every invoice, every interaction.
- We Own Our Mistakes – Humble pie tastes better when shared – and followed by quick fixes.
