I love it! I have a small flock of mid-sized sheep and dwarf goats and it works like a charm to catch them. Usually, it is a rodeo to catch my buck and this made it a breeze with no stress, worth every penny! While not ideal, I have it attached to cattle panels to form a small catch pen and chute, and then bait them through with grain….

I had opportunity to use my working chute (SCHHG) this morning on a ewe that was limping pretty bad. It worked like a dream! She was a big ewe and i could not have handled her by myself. Got the object out of her hoof and opened the head gate and out she went with no stress…she is heavy bred, due to lamb in a couple weeks so I didnt want to stress her any more than necessary. Love my self catch headgate chute!! Sorry i forgot to get video.

You made me a sheep head gate last year and made a few modifications to it for me (which are standard now). I really like it now. Especially the latch protection. I haven’t had a ewe manage to bust out by bouncing around yet. And believe me, I have had some try pretty hard. The ability to lock it open is really nice too.
