What we’ve come to realize at Lakeland Farm and Ranch Direct is that every rancher uses their cattle-handling system differently. Some run cattle every day, while others only use it on a yearly basis. There’s no right or wrong way, just different methods that suit different needs.
Before the snow fell in November, Lakeland visited our longtime-customer Jacob Van T’Westeinde from Broadview, Saskatchewan, and he told us how he uses his Lakeland system to run about 1,000 cattle twice a year.
Hopefully, we will get a chance to visit Jacob’s farm in the summer and actually watch him use his cattle-handling system.
