Rest assured, we rarely receive warranty claims because we are in this for the long haul. Even after the warranty period expires, we remain dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction.

Please note that in order to initiate a warranty claim, it is imperative that you register your product within 30 days of delivery. DISCLAIMER: To be eligible for warranty coverage, product registration is mandatory. Failure to register your product warranty with Lakeland Farm & Ranch will result in the voluntary voiding of your warranty.

During the Warranty Period, Lakeland will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any products or product components that exhibit defects resulting from manufacturer-related issues. This coverage excludes defects stemming from normal wear and tear or misuse of the product. It’s important to note that corrosion is not covered under the warranty. Furthermore, any modifications, of any kind, made to any Lakeland equipment, including its individual components, will immediately render the warranty void. Please be aware that our warranty is not transferable.

Return Policy

Our return policy has a duration of 30 days starting from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret to inform you that we cannot guarantee a refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it, and it should be in its original packaging.

In cases of damaged shipments, we can only process a claim if the customer has signed the delivery paperwork indicating that the item was received in a damaged condition.

For damaged or faulty products, we will make a determination based on photographs provided by the customer and sent to Lakeland Farm & Ranch.

Please note that only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds; sale items are final sale and cannot be refunded.

If you decide to return a product, you are responsible for covering the shipping costs to send it back to our main location in Manitoba, Canada. Please be aware that shipping costs are non-refundable. Additionally, a 10% handling/restocking fee is typically applied to assist in offsetting the expenses we’ve already incurred for processing, packaging, and shipping the item to you.

Shipping FAQs

1. What does our direct shipping to a farm/ranch mean, and how does it work?

Direct shipping to a farm/ranch means just that! Here at Lakeland we will ship our products/equipment DIRECTLY to your location ANYWHERE in Canada or mainland USA. We can also ship directly to you internationally as well. It involves placing your order and specifying the delivery address to your location.

2. What are the advantages of shipping products directly to my farm/ranch?
  • Convenience: You don’t have to make a trip or multiple trips to the dealer to pick up your supplies/products.
  • Time-saving: It saves you time and effort by eliminating the need for transportation.
  • Larger orders: You can order larger quantities since transportation is not limited by what you can carry.
3. What kinds of products can be shipped directly to my farm/ranch?

All Lakeland products can and will be shipped directly to your location, unless otherwise specified.

4. How do I place an order for direct shipping to my farm/ranch?

You can either place an order online through our website, by phone, or in person at our location. During the order process, provide your locations shipping address.

5. Can I track the shipment to my farm/ranch?

Yes once your order has been packed and loaded onto a truck, we will provide tracking information or approx. time frame for arrival for you, so you can monitor the delivery progress and receive real-time updates. The trucking company that we use at the time, is also instructed to reach out to you ahead of time (at least 24 hours ahead) to confirm when they will be delivering and set up a time frame with you, confirm directions etc.

6. Are there additional shipping costs for delivery to my farm/ranch?

Shipping is FREE on any orders over $2,000. Any orders under $2,000 have a flat rate $99 freight charge added. This also depends on quantities ordered and if you are in a remote location.

7. How long does it typically take for products to be delivered to my farm/ranch?

If the item is in stock, we would aim to ship out within 48 hours from the time of order. Then we usually allow 7-10 days for delivery to your location. Delivery times can vary based on your location, and can either be shorter or longer.

8. Am I required to be at my farm/ranch to receive the delivery, and do I need to have equipment available to unload my order from the truck?

Yes, you or someone is required to be at the location to receive the delivery, and yes for most deliveries you will require a skidsteer, loader or forklift to unload your order from the truck. Depending on the product, some can be unloaded by hand.

9. What if I don’t have equipment to unload or am unable to receive semi-truck deliveries to my yard?

You will need to make the rep you are speaking with or our team aware of this at the time of ordering, so we can work with you to figure out either an alternative delivery address or a neighbor/friend that can potentially unload for you.

10. What should I do if I receive damaged or incorrect items in my delivery?

Contact us as soon as possible by calling our toll free 1-866-443-7444 to report the issue and to confirm next steps/arrangements. Also ensure shipping paperwork is signed “damaged” as well.

11. Do I need to be present to sign for the delivery?

It depends on the products ordered and the shipping method but yes most deliveries would require someone to be present to sign for the delivery. However, on smaller items that would ship to a post office/courier drop off location, these would not require you to be present to sign.

12. Can I schedule a specific delivery date and time for my farm/ranch?

We cannot do “timed” or guaranteed delivery dates/times as we are often shipping out multiple orders/drops on the same truck. However, please advise the rep/team member you are dealing with at the time of order about specific dates/times, and we will do what we can to work with this.

13. What should I do if my farm/ranch is in a remote or hard-to-reach location?

No problem! Since we offer FREE delivery right to your yard, we go to many remote locations. Please inform the rep at the time of ordering of the challenges of accessing your ranch, and they can work with you to plan an appropriate delivery solution.

14. Are there any special considerations for international shipping to a ranch?

International shipping may involve customs, duties, and additional paperwork. Ensure you are aware of the requirements for cross-border deliveries.
