Great equipment and great customer service. I have the sheep handling set-up with an alley way and round pen. I use the round pen less than I thought, but the alleyway is very portable and the handling cage is a back-saver when it’s time to trim feet. 👍

i’ve been raising sheep in Central Texas for about 10 years, my flock has reached the point where doing certain chores have become harder and sometimes dangerous. So i’ve been looking for a system that was sturdy, modular, and customizable. And the S100 fit the bill. I liked the fact that lakeland will customize your order to fit your needs, Levi was very knowledgeable and explained the benefits but also the limitations of the system. He walked me through the process and kept me updated during the delivery process. When, i took possession of the system, the pieces are very easy to install. I also ordered the three way sorting scute and some extra puck board panels for my situation. I just needed a wrench twice to install the entire thing! Once to install the swing gate and the other to install the anti back up gate in the scute. Everything else is held by rods, latch pins, or clips. I highly recommend a second person to assist in assembling the system. I put it together by myself, so it’s doable but it does take longer. I am currently running my sheep through the S100 so they could start getting used to it before actually working them.
Would i recommend this system? Absolutely!

I raise a small flock of sheep, 20 adults plus their offspring. When my children lived at home, they would help work the sheep with me. Then my children grew up, moved out and have lives of their own. I had to tear them from that life to come help me with my sheep when needed cause I couldn’t do it by myself. Which means I had to do it on their time. Then I checked out Lakeland a few years ago. I liked what I saw, so I bought everything needed for my sheep. The spin shoot, 3 way sorter, crowding tub, alleyways, guillotine gates, alleyway gates, aluminum panels etc. What a game changer. I no longer need help. I can work my sheep by myself. I gotta say, I am a 65 year old woman and Lakeland has made this possible for me. I’ve been using the system for a few years now and I’m still very happy with it. I must also add that the delivery was pretty quick too.
